Drawing on Ida Kammerloch grandfather's home video archive, Aren't you afraid to swing on Russian swings? tells the story of the transition into the post-Soviet era — caught between economic uncertainty, everyday improvisation, and a new consumer aesthetic. The camera becomes a connecting thread between generations, between memory and research, between private material and political reality.
